Description

The majestic Fetus Nebula

The Fetus Nebula, also known as NGC 7008, is a planetary nebula located in the northern constellation Cygnus, about 2,800 light-years away from Earth. It is named after its appearance, which resembles a fetus in a mother's womb. The nebula is about 1.3 light-years across and can be observed using a telescope and CMOS camera, such as the Meade 16" f/8 LX850 Telescope and ASI1600 CCD Camera mounted on the Skywatcher EQ8 Pro used to capture the image from Al Sadeem Observatory. The Fetus Nebula is a beautiful and unique celestial object that is rarely shot.
